[1] Original says “normal position” which can be used to talk about tarot cards, hence “upright” which is one way to view a card. It can mean other things though, that’s just how I saw it.

[2] “Putting rank aside” is some sort of concept where people drink together regardless of their social status or position at work, so an employee for example can joke around with their boss, things like that.

3- The song title 夜香花 refers to Night Jasmine flowers! “Then why don’t you just call it Night Jasmine” I don’t like the name.
