Exclusive audio recording from CR wiretapping department
XX/XX/2018 - Afternoon
TV Yuuhi - Studio A
(2)You: Yes, we'll be in your care.
Jin: I've been waiting for this! Okay, let's show off on TV a bit.
Kaito: Weren't you talking about how nervous you were just a while ago?
KOH4: Jin does that just for show, I guess.
(2)You: … Okay.
Jin: …?!
(2)You: Hm?
Jin: What's going on?
(2)You: …Is something wrong?
Jin: I don't know how, but the strings are broken. All of them.
(2)You: Huh? Your guitar strings are broken…?
Kaito: Hold on, mine too.
(2)You: The bass too? What's the meaning of this?
KOH4: At any rate, shouldn't we ask the staff to wait a little?
(2)You: … Why did this have to happen.
Kaito: Who knows. We couldn't figure it out in the end.
Jin: Look at the bright side, we could still finish the recording somehow, yeah?
(2)You: Yeah, but… It's not about whether or not the recording went fine, isn't it? We didn't face any issues in the rehearsal, but suddenly the strings break in the actual performance? It's just weird no matter how you look at it. This has to be intentional.
Jin: Even then, what's the point of finding the culprit by now? The staff apologized to us too so why don't we drop it?
(2)You: … Okay.
Kaito: The staff, huh… I kind of feel sorry for them now. Their supervisors will probably get mad at them after this.
Jin: I get you. The workplace hierarchy in a TV station is probably really harsh… Reminds me of when I used to juggle part-time jobs. That was hell.
KOH4: Hm? Yuu? Hey, why're you standing there?
(2)You: Oh, no… It's nothing.
(2)You: Y-You see, I'm sorry, but I just remembered I had an errand to run. Can you guys go ahead without me? You can go home if you want.
Kaito: Huh? An errand… Here?
(2)You: Yes. Well then, thanks for today.
Kaito: … He's not planning on getting involved with those Spark guys, is he…
KOH4: I was thinking the same. I mean, he clearly suspects them. Maybe we should've stopped him.
Jin: It's okay. We should probably stay out of it if he doesn't want to tell us.
KOH4: But-
Jin: He'll get even more concerned if we bring up Spark… Better refrain from doing anything unnecessary. We all have things we don't want to talk about, anyway.
Jin: And if any problem comes in our way, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Jin: It's fine. We'll pull through, somehow. That's what we've been doing so far anyway, right?
Kaito: As carefree as ever… You're really optimistic, you know that?
Kaito: Yuu can also be too cautious sometimes… I wish we could just stick two halves of you together.
Jin: Haha, that might work.
KOH4: …
[This is his story with you, and his story with them.
And of course, one more you still don't know about—
His own story.]

Notes:
1- The name of the TV station is a play on TV Asahi (朝日 > 夕日, kanji for morning changed to night).
2- The expression Kaito uses seems pretty common in Japanese but he's specifically saying he wishes they could add Jin and Yuu together and then divide them by two, so that the result would be someone who's neither too careless or too careful.
